The Department of Medical Gastroenterology deals with disorders of the oesophagus, stomach, small and large intestine, liver, biliary system and pancreas. Facilities are available to treat both paediatric and adults for a wide range of disorders.

About Dr. Gayathri Gopalakrishnan

Dr. Gayathri has received basic medical training from Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College, Belgaum. MD (medicine) from Coimbatore MedicalCollege, Coimbatore and Gastroenterology from Tata Memorial Hospital, Mumbai. She is responsible for setting up and developing the Department of Medical Gastroenterology at Narayana Hrudayalaya, Bangalore. She is working in NH since 2003

About Dr. Sandeep MS

Dr. Sandeep is a Consultant in the Department of Medical Gastroenterology at Narayana Health City, Bangalore. He completed his undergraduate and postgraduate training at BMC, Bangalore and earned a DM in Gastroenterology from KEM Hospital, Mumbai. Prior to joining NH, Dr.Sandeep held the post of Associate Professor in Gastroenterology.
